On Friday we went on an expedition to Vue cinema to watch ‘Missing Link’ everyone had a brilliant time!
We went to Imagine That Science and Discovery Centre in Liverpool and had a very busy and exciting day. We made bath bombs, painted magnets, stirred our own slime, watched the science show including giant bubbles, an erupting volcano and a launching rocket, visited the science area, construction site and the Imagination Village. Most of us had a well-deserved rest on the way home!
We visited Smithills Hall on Wednesday 6th November and we had so much fun! We dressed up as the Barton family and re-enacted a scene from the Lord and Lady’s banquet; we even did some dancing. We learnt lots about the Tudors and found out new and exciting facts about Henry VIII and his beliefs. We are loving our Tudor topic and can’t wait to share our learning at our class assembly next week!
Our class blogs provide our children with a real audience and purpose for writing. Please feel free to comment and give us feedback on any of our posts. Your comments will be monitored before going live and then will be shared with the children.
